VOLUNTEER WITH CCMP

Coalition of Concerned Medical Professionals (CCMP) is an all-volunteer effort established in the Bay Area in 1976 to overcome the political and economic barriers that deny access to comprehensive medical care for working people. CCMP is a free and voluntary unincorporated private membership association, independent from any government or strings-attached funding. CCMP volunteers provide advocacy and conduct a free-of-charge preventive medical care benefit program for eligible participants.

No minimum hours

Volunteers are needed daytimes and evenings, whether for an hour, a day, a week, a summer or anytime. There are many ways to participate in building a volunteer-run, free-of-charge benefit program. Call CCMP today!

No experience needed

We use “on-the-job” training, so anyone can learn while taking action and making a difference. No prior experience or special skills are needed because everything you need to know, we will teach you. Volunteers are productive from their first day in!

Dare to care!

We say that all that is needed is that you care and are willing to work. Low wages and an increasing cost of living force working families to choose between seeing the doctor and paying for rent, food and bills. Your participation can make it possible for Bay Area workers to get the care they need.
